Human Rights are rights inherent to all human beings with no exception. Someone can violate your human rights but they cannot take them away from you.
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which was adopted by the UN General Assembly in December, 1948. Eleanor
Roosevelt played and instrumental role was the main author alongside Pen-Chun Chang, Charles Malik, and few others that worked on drafting the International Bill of Human Rights.
Dr. Charles Malik was a Lebanese diplomat, academic, philosopher and theologian and he was the first Lebanese representative in the United Nations. He served as the President of the Commission on Human Rights and the United Nations General Assembly and achieved the successful drafting of the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Malik had a grand vision of freedom and liberty and stressed the idea that all human beings are created by God with a natural and immutable dignity.
Unlike civil rights, human rights are not given by governments nor you need a permission to have them.

- You cannot be enslaved
- Your rights remain no matter where you are
- You cannot be unreasonably detained
- You are innocent until proven guilty
- You have freedom to move
- You have right to nationality
- You have freedom of thought, conscience, & religion
- You have freedom to express opinion
- You have the right to food & Shelter
- You have the right to education
