United Nations Headquarters, New York | March 18, 2025– High-Level Experts to Call for Urgent Gender-Responsive Action to Protect Women and Girls from Environmental Degradation at the upcoming 69th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69), global leaders, experts, and advocates will convene at the United Nations Headquarters for an impactful event.

Participants will examine the rising health risks stemming from climate change, pollution, and loss of biodiversity, and the event will conclude with a robust discussion on actionable solutions, urging governments, civil society, and multilateral organizations to prioritize environmental justice in gender policies and interventions.
