United Voices for Global Impact (UVGI) Participates in the Women Economic Forum (WEF) Ecuador 2025

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CUENCA, ECUADOR | 11-13 September 2025 United Voices for Global Impact (UVGI), a nonprofit committed to empowering underserved and marginalized communities, is honored to announce its participation in the Women Economic Forum (WEF) Ecuador 2025, taking place from September 11–13, 2025, in the historic city of Cuenca, Ecuador.

WEF Ecuador, part of the globally renowned Women Economic Forum founded in India in 2015, has emerged as one of the world’s leading platforms for women’s leadership, empowerment, and cross-sectoral collaboration. The forum is set to convene global leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, scholars, and changemakers from across 150 countries under the shared mission of advancing gender equity, leadership, and sustainable development.

UVGI President and Founder, Dr. Hala Ghoson, has been invited to participate as a high-impact speaker at this prestigious international gathering. In recognition of her exceptional leadership, advocacy, and contributions to global health, peace, and social justice, Dr. Ghoson has also been nominated to receive a distinguished award during the WEF Ecuador 2025 Recognition Gala.

“We are deeply honored to be part of this transformational platform that aligns so closely with our mission,” said Dr. Ghoson. “WEF Ecuador celebrates purpose-driven leadership and action—values that drive everything we do at UVGI to build healthier, more equitable, and resilient communities.”

With a robust agenda that includes keynote presentations, a business mission, an awards gala, and a cultural immersion in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Cuenca, the forum promises a dynamic exchange of ideas and strategies aimed at accelerating progress toward gender parity and sustainable development goals.

UVGI’s participation reflects its growing international footprint and ongoing commitment to championing the rights and voices of women, youth, and vulnerable populations around the world. Through cross-border partnerships and global forums like WEF, UVGI continues to amplify its advocacy on issues ranging from health equity and poverty eradication to economic empowerment and education access.
