New York City, March 13 – In an urgent call to accelerate the elimination of cervical cancer worldwide, leading global health advocates will gather at a United Nations virtual event, “People, Prevention, and Partnerships: Towards the Global Elimination of Cervical Cancer.” The event will feature distinguished speakers, Dr. Nkechi Ifediora and Dr. Hala Ghoson, who will discuss critical strategies to achieve the World Health Organization’s (WHO) 90-70-90 targets by 2030.

Cervical cancer remains a preventable disease, yet it claims the lives of thousands of women annually. The time to act is now. By leveraging People, Prevention, and Partnerships (3P), we can ensure informed communities, accessible healthcare services, and sustainable advocacy efforts to eliminate cervical cancer for future generations.

The Power of 3P: People, Prevention, and Partnerships

  • People + Prevention = Informed Communities
  • Prevention + Partnerships = Accessible Services
  • People + Partnerships = Sustainable Advocacy
  • When all three align, we don’t just fight cervical cancer—we eliminate it.

This virtual event aims to inspire collective action, urging stakeholders across all sectors to unite in eliminating cervical cancer once and for all. Join us on March 13, 2025, and be part of the movement to save lives through prevention, advocacy, and partnerships.
