DOHA, QATAR | 04-06 November 2025 — United Voices for Global Impact (UVGI), a nonprofit organization committed to empowering underserved and marginalized communities, is honored to announce its participation in the United Nations Second World Summit for Social Development (WSSD), taking place from November 4–6, 2025, in Doha, Qatar.
As a leading advocate for equitable and inclusive progress, UVGI will join global leaders, policymakers, civil society representatives, diplomats, and development experts to address the critical challenges shaping social development in the 21st century.
About the Summit
Thirty years after the landmark 1995 World Summit for Social Development in Copenhagen, the international community will gather once again—this time in Doha—to reaffirm commitments to:
- Eradicating poverty
- Promoting full employment and decent work
- Advancing social inclusion
- Accelerating the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development
The Second World Summit for Social Development will bring together Heads of State and Government, UN officials, diplomatic delegates, civil society, academia, and representatives of the UN system to forge actionable solutions for today’s most pressing social challenges. Through high-level panels, policy dialogues, and thematic parallel events, round tables, the Summit aims to chart new paths toward building resilient, inclusive, and sustainable societies.
