United Voices for Global Impact at the Medical Women’s International Association (MWIA) Congress – Cairo, Egypt

The Medical Women’s International Association Congress brought together women leaders, physicians, and health professionals from around the world for a series of high-level panel discussions, poster presentations, and interactive workshops. Held under the theme “One Humanity: Health Solutions Through Our Partnerships,” the Congress provided a dynamic platform for sharing knowledge, exploring innovative solutions, and advancing global priorities in women’s health and gender equity.

United Voices for Global Impact (UVGI) was honored to be represented by our President, Dr. Hala Ghoson, who presented within the thematic track “Women’s Health and Climate.” Her presentation, titled “Women’s Health in a Changing Climate: Impacts and the High Cost of Inaction,” underscored the urgent need to address the growing health burdens faced by women and girls in the context of climate change.

The discussions that followed were insightful and impactful, highlighting the critical intersection between climate resilience, women’s health outcomes, and sustainable development. Across the various sessions, participants engaged deeply with emerging priorities shaping the future of global health, focusing on evidence-based solutions, partnerships, and collective action.

UVGI remains committed to contributing to global dialogues that strengthen resilience, promote equity, and enhance the well-being of women and communities worldwide.
